WHO WE ARE
Our Roots
Here at Flight Academy Volleyball Club, we are interested in advancing the sport of boys volleyball in the greater Dayton area. Our focus is on improving all players techniques and strategies so that they can perform to their utmost potential. We have formed this club so that players, parents, and coaches in this area have a program that they can be proud to be a part of.
ACTIVITIES
Tryouts will begin on Saturday September 12th from 11-12:45 for our 12 and 14's
Tryouts for 15-18's will be held from 1-3. All tryouts will be at South Metro. Please make sure you fill out a tryout membership on the OVR website (www.ovr.org)

STAFF
Bill Buirley - Head Volleyball Coach - Kettering Fairmont High School.
Coach Buirley - Has lived in Dayton all his life. He has taught for 32 years and has been coaching volleyball for 33 years. He has compiled over 600 wins in his career and was the 2003 Boys State Coach of the Year as well as winning the Sportsmanship, Ethics, and Integrity Award from the Ohio High School Volleyball Coaches Association in 2008. Coach Buirley has placed over 40 players to the college ranks in his career.

Dan Peterson - Head Volleyball Coach - Miami East High School
AVCA's Thirty coaches under 30 to watch list 2017, Team was state champions in 2016. Coach Peterson has won many accolades throughout his coaching career and has coached numerous players to play at the next level. Has coached club at Air City for three years, and has had many numerous awards throughout his coaching and playing career

Bryan Marshall -

Logan Kerlin - Is from the Dayton area and attended Northmont HIgh School. He has coached club for Air City for 2 years and has been an assistant coach at Northmont in 2017-2018 as well. In high school he as an all state player and has developed his skills beyond and has competed on the beach scene of the AVP circuit
